The Preamble

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessing of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

The Preamble is saying that the people are the kings. They make the laws and control the government.

This is my Preamble video, showing Barney Fife messign up several times.

Barney, like many people, do not know much about the Constitution, including the Preamble, and what it does for our everyday rights. Without it we would not be able to do many of the things that we take for granted. The Preamble explains that the people are the ones that are to run the country and make the laws that they feel are right. This is where our freedom comes from, and we should not take it for granted.
